It's official ... Mariah Carey has joined "American Idol."
The announcement was made moments ago at the TV Critics Association Summer Press tour in Beverly Hills.
The 42-year-old singer is rumored to have signed a deal worth $12 million for her first year ... the same amount of $$$ Jennifer Lopez made during he first year with the show.
So far, it's still unclear if Randy Jackson will remain on board.
'Idol' still has one more spot to fill at the judge's table ... and there are rumors Miley Cyrus and Adam Lambert could be in the running.
Beyonce Shops At Bergdorf Goodman With Blue Ivy And Shows Her Face
Well those box braids must be indicative that Bey has eased up a bit this summer, because precious lil Blue Ivy has been showing her face around town!
BeyBey was spotted toting her 6-month-old baby bundle for a shopping trip at Bergdorf Goodman and even let the paps catch a glimpse of her dark curls.

RiRi has partnered with her stylist Lysa Cooper, famed fashion designer Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts of the London-based pop group Girls Aloud to offer their expertise for her upcoming reality show “Styled to Rock”. Rihanna will serve as a mentor to the designers for 10 weeks. The show is set to premiere next month on the Sky Living Channel only to air in the UK. Bummer! Usher has changed his tune and now wants to up his ante to settle his epic child support/custody war with Tameka Raymond after the jet ski accident that left his stepson Kyle brain dead … TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Usher spoke with Tameka over the weekend and suggested that they settle up, but he did not significantly change his offer — 50/50 custody with a very slight increase in child support. Tameka said no way.
But apparently Usher softened after the conversation, because our sources say he met with his lawyers earlier this week and instructed them to craft a new proposal that would give Tameka “a majority” of custody, though the sources did not specify the exact breakdown. We’re told Usher is also raising his child support offer “significantly.”
As for Usher’s motivation … we’re told he’s very conscious that Tameka is suffering and it’s not a good move to continue the fight under the circumstances.
We’re told the offer has not been presented to Tameka yet, but our sources say she’s open to a “reasonable settlement.”
Calls to lawyers on both sides have not been returned.
It’s a shame that it takes a family tragedy to make people come to their senses…
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta continues it’s reign of ratchedness with more deception from Stevie J and his boy toy/jump off Jose-line.
While the world still asked “Can a man get pregnant?” the deception continues as Joseph Joseline “recovers” from the “abortion” she had during episode 3 with Stevie J is right by her side. [Sidebar: I wonder if he was by her side as she recovered from that fight at the club last week too?]
Anywhoo… Mimi Faust is still playing the victim and Lil Scrappy moves into his own place as he’s shown chillaxin with reality show vixen Shay “Buckeey” Johnson from Flavor of Love.
The sh*t also hits the fan between Lil Scrappy and Stevie J. as Scrappy confronts Stevie for disrespecting his baby mama, Erica Dixon.
Erica and Scrappy are outside waiting for Stevie J when he walks out of the studio with Joseline. Everyone is calm, and Stevie attempts to be the bigger man by apologizing for calling Erica a “bitch.” Everything goes left when Scrappy calls Joseline a “bitch” (cause we all know she’s a dude) and Joseline accuses Erica and Stevie J of having sex. The argument turns into a brawl and after a few rounds of fighting between the two couples Scrappy yells… “Ain’t nobody getting a check in the A now. Y’all better go to New York with that bullshit!”
I guess Scrappy’s cutting’ the checks these days huh? Who knew…

In her own words, Scrappy’s Mom says that Joseline is just like her… except she has no womb. She then tries to change the subject but eventually owns up to what she said.
Momma Dee: “Guess what me and Joseline have in common… we have no womb!”
Funky Dineva: “Wait… but you had a hysterectomy… she didn’t… Are you saying she’s a MAN?”

Word on the curb is that while Zolciak was “working” as Big Poppa’s jump off, The Real “Housewife” of Atlanta didn’t pay her taxes.
Details below… According to CelebrityVIPLounge:
A source very, very close to the reality star told us exclusively that Kim claimed NO income, “yet big poppa was buying her $50k gifts and much more and she was spending over $200k a month.” She hasn’t been caught yet black america is being convicted left and right.
The source told us that “She wouldn’t even put her own social security number when her old best friend needed it for the emergency room back in 2008 when Kim was in LA and her daughter needed medical attention.” And get this, nor would she give her social security number to Vh1 for her paid appearance at Divas Duets. Fellow star Nene Leakes did though!
“She needs her jail time or pay up like the rest of us,” added the source.
The fact that Zolciak would owe the IRS doesn’t surprise me at all. Hell… just about everyone owes Uncle Sam these days, even Marlo Hampton has a few tax debts! BUT being as though Kim didn’t even bother to FILE her taxes while she was clearly a *cough* paid mistress, she should at least be held accountable for her annual tax return like everyone else.

Fantasia Barrino released the following photo online a few days prior to her crowd pleasing performance at the 2012 Essence Festival, which further fueled rumors that she was knocked up (again) by her married cheating boyfriend Antwaun Cook.
The word originally spread when when Tasia appeared a bit thick in the waist onstage in Trinidad, the same concert where she reportedly cried a river after finding out Antwuan had been kicking it with a D-list reality show star.

Well… according to Fannie, that is all just hearsay and nothing could be further from the truth!
Here’s what Fantasia wants you to know about those pregnancy rumors…
Although she herself posted unexplained photos of her midsection which cause many to speculate that it was an “admission” of her pregnancy, Fantasia says it’s just not true.
In a response posted on her Instagram account, Fantasia states:
So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Fantasia says she is NOT pregnant… NOT being cheated on (I guess that means that she and Antwaun are still together) and she did NOT cry on stage because she was hurt, it was because she was parsing God!
Amen! Moving on.
