RHOA’s Phaedra Parks’ Family Christmas Photo + Her Holiday Message of UNITY… [PHOTOS]

Attorney Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her handsome hubby Apollo Nida pose alongside their son Ayden in their 2011 family Christmas Card photo.
Phaedra also took some time to hit up her Bravo blog to spread a few words of holiday cheer. The southern belle stressed the importance of UNITY and putting aside petty differences during the holiday season.
Most importantly, we shouldn’t enter a new year carrying old baggage if at all possible.

Phaedra’s holiday message below…

In December, more than 90% of Americans will celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, or Kwanzaa. As a Christian, my family celebrates Christmas; however, we appreciate and respect all the winter holidays. After studying the most popular holidays of the winter, I noted that while they are all based on different principles, a common theme is clear: unity.
Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ; Chanukah pays tribute to the dedication of the Jewish people who fervently believed in their right to religious freedom; and Kwanza, a traditionally African-American celebration, focuses on reconnecting African-Americans with their native African heritage.
During Sunday’s episode, The Bailey Agency, much like the winter holidays, united us all.
For the first time since Cynthia’s wedding, Kim and NeNe were in the same room without any conflict. While their friendship is still on the mend, we all came together to celebrate Cynthia’s leap into entrepreneurship.

Many times during the holidays we tend to place our differences aside for the sake of others.
In like fashion, I determined my friendship with Sheree is more valuable than our legal relationship.

During this holiday season and in the New Year, I encourage you to put petty differences aside and focus on unity with friends and family.
Everybody knows the best gifts are those that aren’t tangible but felt by the heart.

It's been quite a year for Kim Kardashian and she's closing out 2011 on top of a National League of Junior Cotillions list, though it's a title she probably doesn't want to flaunt. The camera-friendly reality star was named the "The Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011."
Sure, Kardashian threw us all for a loop with her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries this year, but what does the NLJC have to say about it? The organization (via NY Daily News) says Kardashian earned the title for "making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage."
Yikes.
So if Kardashian is the epitome of a bad-mannered celebrity, which other 2011 bride topped the list of well-mannered people? The Duchess of Cambridge, of course.
Kate Middleton, who married Prince William in a highly-publicized wedding in April, received the honor thanks to "the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight," NLJC national director Elizabeth Anne Winteres said in a statement. Middleton was also a finalist for TIME's coveted "Person of the Year" honor this year.
Justin Bieber, Paula Abdul, Taylor Swift and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers also made this year's NLJC "Ten Best-Mannered People of 2011."

*CONFIRMED* Tamar Braxton & Her Hubby Vince Land “Family Business” Spin-Off…

Word on the curb this week is that Tamar Braxton and her hubby Vincent Herbert are next up on the reality show train.
I seriously can’t keep up with all the new reality shows these days… every day a new one is on the way!
Tamar, the youngest of the Braxton clan, has always been vocal about stepping out of sister Toni Braxton’s shadow. Well now she’s finally getting a chance to shine on her own.

Trina, Traci & Towanda Braxton recently did an interview for Sister 2 Sister where they spoke about all the drama on the 2nd season of their WE reality series Braxton Family Values and they revealed that Tamar and Vince will soon be branching off to star in their own reality series.
No word on if shooting for Tamar and Vince’s new show has begun yet, but it is said to premiere sometime in 2012.
Tamar has consistently remained a fan favorite on Braxton Family Values, and she’s also a favorite of the blogs, she spoke about it a few months ago at a private screening for the show.

Tamar’s personality notwithstanding, hubby Vince could also lend to the excitement, being that he’s the man behind several top artist, including Lady Gaga and formerly Tamar’s sister Toni Braxton (until she reportedly fired him back in October).

WE tv announced today that the network has greenlit the original series Tamar & Vince (working title) for its 2012 programming slate. The series will showcase Tamar Braxton and husband Vincent Herbert as they navigate their hectic lives, from Tamar’s solo album to Vince’s busy career as a successful music producer. WE tv has ordered eight, one-hour episodes tentatively scheduled to premiere in fourth quarter 2012; production begins in March.
“Tamar & Vince is a great addition to WE tv’s schedule, especially as we expand into a third night of original programming catering to the underserved audience of African-American women that love Braxton Family Values,” said Kim Martin, President & GM, WE tv. “Tamar is a huge part of what’s made that show such a success; she is completely over the top and our viewers just love her!”
“We are so very excited for this amazing opportunity,” said Braxton. “With our family series, Braxton Family Values, we aim to show audiences the true meaning of family and sisterhood, and with our new show, marriage. Tina Knowles, mother of super-star Beyonce, officially filed for divorce from her husband Matthew! The final decree of divorce was issued last month in a Texas court. According to TMZ Tina filed them on August 30.

This comes after much speculation into the couples private life, which included an allegation that Matthew had fathered a child outside of his and her marriage (which TMZ claims to be true)!
The documents state, the reason for divorce being: “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities” … which “prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Kobe Bryant’s divorce came as a surprise – to no one. After his sexual assault case back in 2003 (for which he admitted in cheating on his wife), we knew it was only a matter of time before she came to her senses.
Sure enough, on Friday, Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” So what made her finally pull the plug? Well, her fellow basketball wives, according to TMZ.
That’s right, Kobe’s so-called basketball “friends” told their wives about all his adulterous exploits and though we’re sure the ladies promised not to pass the secret along, they kept to the “code” and gave the heads-up to Vanessa (probably in hopes that, if the situation were ever reverse, she would do the same for them.)

Boo’d Up: Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida @ Captain Planet Event + Another RHOA Spin-Off In The Works? [PHOTOS]

Attorney Phaedra Parks of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and her handsome hubby Apollo Nida were picture perfect when they were spotted out and about a few days ago.
The couple attended Captain Planet Foundation’s annual benefit gala alongside 700 of the most environmentally conscious elite of Atlanta which included Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
The event was held at the Georgia Aquarium last Friday evening, and apparently rumors are swirling after an announcer “slipped up” and revealed some news about Phaedra.

According to Rodney Ho of the AJC, there was an awkward moment when a host mentioned some surprising news about Phaedra:

Oddest moment was when host Nadia Bilchik told the crowd that Parks was getting her own reality show. Huh?
Parks looked befuddled and got Bilchik later to retract that piece of “news.” Bilchik revised her statement, saying she just wishes Parks had her own show. (Perhaps one day she will but she’s only in her second season with the “Housewives.”)

As a connoisseur of all things “RHOA” I’ve noticed that Phaedra’s “character” on the show is fast becoming Atlanta’s favorite “housewife” due to her hilarious quick quotes this year, so it’s really not too far fetched that Bravo would consider a show for her. I mean… Kim got a special… Sheree got her own episode… so is it?
I don’t think so. And that’s just my humble opinion.

NEWSFLASH! NeNe Leakes’ “Trump Check” = Thousands NOT Millions + NeNe Spotted on GLEE Set [PHOTOS]

NeNe Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was caught up in a huge firestorm after proclaiming “I’m VERY rich B*tch!” to Sheree Whitfield during season 4′s premiere episode.
Leakes claimed her wealth came from “Trump Checks” obtained during her stint on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, but EVERYBODY KNOWS that show is centered around charitable contributions.
NeNe has since backpedaled, stating she’s “rich in spirit” or some ish like that, but she managed to capitalize from her quote by putting on a few t-shirts.

Now the Trumps have spoken up about NeNe and basically her tall tales of “Trump” checks is…



Donald Trump, Jr. was asked about NeNe’s “Trump check” recently and he replied:

Honestly, I have no idea. All the celebrities on the show play for charity. She received a small appearance fee, sure, but that was it.

And as far as NeNe’s claims that she’s trump tight with the Trumps, and that he has helped her secure business deals, Trump, Jr. states:

And as far as I know, she’s not involved with any of our other business or corporations. So I’m not sure what she’s talking about.

On a related note, NeNe is still getting “checks” albeit not “Trump” checks. She is reportedly being featured in a recurring role on yet another popular television series.
The loud-mouthed diva was recently spotted on the set of the popular television series GLEE where she is reportedly filming a guest spot.
Rumor has it that NeNe filmed a guest appearance on Glee as Sam’s (Chord Overstreet) swim coach, and photographic evidence of Leakes on set further confirmed the talk.
NeNe dons a red and black tracksuit with sneakers (no word on if they were “red bottoms” but the mere fact that she was in flats proves she was doing SOMETHING out of the ordinary.
At first I wasn’t too convinced about NeNe being featured as a swim coach since we all know she’s not getting that quick weave wet LOL but after her profile was caught on the previews, it sealed the deal!

And to top all that that off, it may actually be a recurring role.

Nene Leakes flew back to L.A. this week to tape a second episode of Glee. My source on the set says that today’s shoot was very long and filmed in the pool/gym of Ventura High School.
Nene always seems so happy in her tweets when she is out there filming. To make the day even sweeter for Nene, it’s her birthday! Today’s shoot is not for the Grease episode but for another episode all together. (source)

Such a great way to top off an outfit, or even use it to switch that look from work to play! It's so easy to do! You might think there's only one or two ways to throw a scarf on, but today I'm going to show you 12! This is an awesome demo pictorial of how to wear a scarf more ways than one. Saw this and had to share...

1. The Yellow Scarf: Add a corsage to spice up your scarf.

2. The Pink and Purple Scarf: Use an infinity scarf as a shawl.

3. The Lime Green Scarf: Fold your scarf in half, put the middle around your neck. Wrap the sides around your neck and back through the loop you made in front of your neck.

4. The Geometric Silk Scarf: Add a chain to your smaller scarves with safety pins for a creative chic look.

5. The Turquoise Tassel Scarf: Tie a loose knot and let your scarf fall like a large necklace.

6. The Black and White Scarf: Take a chunky scarf and wrap it around your shoulders. Tie a bow.

7. The Pink Scarf: Wrap a belt around your scarf for a vest-like feel.

8. The Green Pashmina Scarf: Tie two corners of your scarf around your neck. Take the remaining two corners and tie them around your waist for a halter-top effect.
