MempHitz & Toya Celebrate 1st Wedding Anniversary in Paris… [PHOTOS]

Mickey “Memphitz” Wright and Toya ~~Carter~~ Wright tied the knot over a year ago and recently celebrated the first anniversary of that happy day with a trip to Paris, France.

Dayum… time flies!
Toya’s wedding ceremony will also forever go down in history as the day Nivea was locked up for DUI but we won’t go there today.
Instead, I will congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Wright on their happy union and join them in shrugging off all the haters (who shall forever remain nameless on this site).

RHOA Season 5 Cast Update: Keisha Knight Pulliam Joins Atlanta Housewives… Smart Move?

Keisha Knight Pulliam, the actress many affectionately know as “Rudy” from the Cosby Show, is the newest addition to the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Rumors swirled earlier this year that Keisha would be joining the cast when she made a cameo on the show alongside Nene Leakes, but Keisha soon put the rumor to bed, even going so far as to dispute it on a radio show.
While she may have been telling the truth AT THAT TIME, it appears that things have definitely changed!
details below:

When the rumors initially surfaced, I dismissed them. Hell… Keisha’s not a “wife” and I don’t even think she has a full time boo.

Having graduation from Atlanta’s HBCU Spelman College, Keisha’s definitely an ATLien with business skills. So she gets my vote… husband or not.

In addition to working on several Tyler Perry projects, most specifically ‘House of Payne,’ Keisha launched KAMP KIZZY, a summer day camp program girls ages 11 to 16 years old.

According to the Kamp Kizzy site:

Keshia has been a role model for generations of young girls. Her continued public presence both on and off the big screen has given her the platform to influence all those who see her. Recognizing the absence of positive imagery of young girls for young girls, Keshia felt compelled to establish a non-profit foundation such as Kamp Kizzy to empower their spirits. Having attended both Foxcroft, an all girls boarding school in Middleburg, Virginia and the prestigious Spelman College in Atlanta, GA she knows first hand the gravity a positive women can have on the life of a young girl.
Taking the hands on approach to improving her community from her years as a Bonner Scholar to volunteering at Hosea Feed the Hungry, service is something that has long been close to Keshia’s heart. She has consistently donated to numerous community service foundations in various facets (rather by time, celebrity, monetarily, or goods.) With the development of Kamp Kizzy Keshia has made a commitment to remain an active participant in the lives of young girls.

I’m sure Keisha’s getting a huge chunk of change but being that she is such an accomplished actress and businesswoman, is it really a smart move to attach herself to a “reality” show? Hmmm…. well at least we know she’ll bring a bit of positivity to the cast.

Oooooh…. now I get it! *epiphany*
We have Kenya Moore for the “drama” and Keisha Knight Pulliam to balance it all out. Woooow…. smart move Bravo… smart move!
According to my sources, Keisha has been filming with the cast of the show for several weeks now.
I also heard that the official season 5 cast photo for The Real housewives of Atlanta should be released pretty soon as well, since Keyshia’s addition to the show rounds out the cast.
So if my intel is correct, the Season 5 cast is as follows:
Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Keisha Knight Pulliam and Kim Zolciak, who will still be taping, but in a limited capacity due to her pregnancy. (It’s my hope that they go ahead and lose the token White chick, but that’s just me.)
And since Kenya Moore has been spotted hanging out with Phaedra & Kandi, it would seem that Bravo may have finally disbanded all that dumb Talls vs. Smalls mess.

Patti Stanger Talks Kimye; Kris Humphries Not Dating Until Divorce; Plus Lamar Odom…Olympic Athlete?

Oh good gravy! Those Kardashians will never go gently into that good night, will they? I guess I have to take some of the blame for still writing about them, but what can I do? (Stop writing about them, I hear you) Perhaps today I’ll write about the authority on all things love-related…at least in Bravolebrity world.
Patti Stanger, everyone’s favorite Millionaire Matchmaker, recently spoke with HollywoodLife.com about the whole Kimye phenomenon. Of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s ~~fauxmance~~ romance she exclaims, “This is a good, good fit for her and I hope that Kris [Jenner], her mother, gives the blessing because I think they’ll end up getting married. I really do. I think he has known the family long enough to know what the problems are. I love it. KK babies all the way! I think that they both made a mistake at one point in their life. They understand each other and they were friends first. Friends are the best foundation for a really good marriage.”

Patti also comments on the fact that Kim is, well, still technically married. According to Patti, that’s no big deal. “Separated is separated, the whole thing was not even a real marriage,” She says. “I think she fell for him and the attraction and chemistry was there but at the end of the day they just didn’t gel.” Two quick things, Patticakes…I think Kris Humphries would beg to differ that it was in fact a real marriage, and separated isn’t always separated–it depends on the state in which you were married. California is probably far different from my uber-conservative Southern state, but here Kris could have Kim’s bum for adultery since they aren’t yet legally divorced.
As for why the couple works, Patti explains, “They have the attraction, he’s got the money, he’s got the talent, she’s got the money. She traded up for a change, and this is beyond Reggie. It’s an equal fit, if not bigger.” Um, I can’t help but notice Patti didn’t say Kim had the talent…
Kris, on the other hand, apparently isn’t living by the whole “separated is separated” mantra. A source tells RadarOnline.com, “Kris won’t even consider dating anyone until his divorce to Kim is finalized. Kris is very much aware that Kim is dating Kanye West, and he could truly care less. He wishes her nothing but the best, and if she can be happy with Kanye, great. He just isn’t ready to date yet and doesn’t want to get in a serious relationship right now. Kris isn’t living like a monk and goes out with his buddies to clubs.”
Perhaps Kris isn’t ready to date because he’s too busy trying to make sure his divorce proceedings go to trial…and here’s hoping it’s time well spent for Mr. Humphries. The same insider reveals, “Kim is just livid that she has to be deposed. She has tried to get out of it, but there is no way she can. Kris is ready for his deposition to be taken and just wants the truth to get out about what really happened when they were dating and after the wedding.”
Of course, all of the hullabaloo surrounding the divorce hasn’t soured Kris’ outlook on love. Kris will “absolutely get married again, when the time is right. Kris wants to have a family, but he isn’t going to rush into anything. He is hopeful that the divorce will be finalized by the end of the year,” the source tells the site.
Good news may be in store for another basketball player close to the Kardashian klan. Lamar Odom may actually have a shot at playing in the summer Olympics. After a less than stellar basketball season, Lamar is hoping to be team USA this summer at the 2012 Olympics in London. Sources tell HollywoodLife.com he may have a chance given the recent injuries suffered by Chris Bosh, Derrick Rose, and Dwight Howard.
“If Lamar makes the team it just proves that the men’s basketball team have lost a ton of talent due to injury,” snarks the insider.
The roster won’t be finalized until July 7th. Here’s hoping that Lamar can make his Olympic dreams come true…and here’s hoping the Kardashians won’t try to cash in on that success. Oh, who am I kidding?

Drew Barrymore Talks Wedding Day

She was a gorgeous blushing bride, and Drew Barrymore couldn’t have been more happy with how her weekend wedding turned out.
The “E.T.” actress said “I Do” to Will Kopelman in a gorgeous ceremony at her $5.7 million Montecito, California home.

Drew told press, “The day was perfect. Everyone we love and care about was there. It was as fun and meaningful as we ever could have hoped.”
Event planner Yifat Oren explained that Barrymore “just wanted a backyard wedding,” so they went for a “vintage romantic” vibe, including lace, pink flowers, and green garland.

Prince William & Kate's Jubilee Carriage Ride, The Queen's Message

In April 2011 they had fans lining the streets of London to see them ride past in a Royal Carriage, and today (June 5) Prince William and Kate Middleton were at it again.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarded a horse-drawn carriage along with Prince Harry as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Will, Kate, and Harry waved to throngs of onlookers from their posh perch as they rode from Westminster Hall to Buckingham Palace, with Harry exclaiming, “Bit of a dip!” as they hit a bump in the road.
As always, Duchess Catherine looked stunning in a dusty pink Alexander McQueen dress and a Jane Taylor hat with LK Bennett heels.
Meanwhile, the Queen also shot a video in which she delivers a personal "Diamond Jubilee" message to her faithful subjects - with the speech in the player below!
