Monica Honors Whitney Houston + Shoots “It All Belongs To Me” Video w/Brandy [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Monica Brown shared a few photos before she went onstage in Hartford, Connecticut last night (February 14, 2012) as she prepared to pay tribute to her fallen mentor, singer Whitney Houston.
Mo was in attendance during the Grammy awards and was scheduled to perform onstage at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party alongside Brandy and Houston even attended their rehearsals just days before she died.

“It All Belongs To Me” will appear on Monica’s forthcoming album, New Life, scheduled for release April 10th.

After seeing these performances it’s clear the Monica woulda blew Jennifer Hudson’s Whitney tribute outta the water! Both are great singers but Monica has clearly been in the game way longer. I wonder why she wasn’t chosen to perform the tribute??
