Kevin Hart Hosts Celebrity Filled Birthday Bash During Essence Music Fest 2012 [PHOTOS]

Comedian Kevin Hart celebrated his 32nd birthday during Essence Music Fest 2012 with a star-studded celebration held at The Saint Hotel in New Orleans (July 6, 2012).

The “Think Like A Man” funnyman drew out an impressive list of who’s who which included Trey Songz, Tank, actress LisaRay, Denise Vasi, Charity Shea and just about all the cast of VH1′s popular sitcom Single Ladies came through as well as real “housewife” of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey and her hubby Peter Thomas.
Other guests included, Denzel Washington, Tisha Campbell, Tamar & Trina Braxton, Eva Marcille, Lance Gross, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Michael Ealy, Anthony Mackie, Lahmann Rucker, Michael Jai Walker, Denyce Lawton, Shaunie O’Neil, Kevin Liles and the list goes on and on…

Rapunzel Marlo Hampton, your favorite background character from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was spotted arriving for dinner at Mastro’s Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California (July 3, 2012).
The real “mistress” of Atlanta let her hair down (literally) as she hit the hollywood scene in haute couture paired with 35 inches of that premium virgin indian remy just days after she hit Detroit with celebrity hairstylist Derek J.

Martavious Marlo looks amazing!

I’ve heard conflicting reports about whether Martin Marlo will be returning next season, one of my sources said she has taped a few scenes, while another said that she is DEFINITELY NOT on the show. That being said, we’ll just have to wait and see. But one thing I DO know is that Marlo won’t be an “official” housewife” so y’all can stop dreaming already.

Tameka Raymond’s 11 y/o Son Kile Critically Injured in Jet Ski Accident… [PHOTOS]

 

I heard some very disturbing news this weekend that Tameka Raymond‘s 11 year old son, Kile Glover was injured in a freak accident at Lake Lanier.
Kile, the youngest son born of the marriage between Tameka and Atlanta businessman Ryan Glover, was reportedly floating in an inner tube on the lake when he was hit in the head by a Jet Ski.
The 11 year old was said to have been unresponsive when he was taken out of the water and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Tameka was out of the country on vacation, however her ex-husband Usher Raymond was kind enough to charter a jet to get her back to her son’s side as quickly as possible.

Recent reports are that the 11 year old has been declared brain dead by doctors following yesterday’s accident but I’m hoping and praying that that’s not the case.

According to TMZ, Kile hasn’t experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital. We’re told there has been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support.
Our sources say Usher arrived at the hospital last night and Tameka has not left the hospital since she got there.

Kile had recently followed his step dad’s footsteps and performed onstage singing and dancing in a school play.
Tameka proudly posted photos of her son, who played Michael Jackson’s role of the scarecrow in his school’s production of the Wiz. Kile is also a star student who his mom often describes as a “brainiac.”
As for Lake Lanier’s role in the accident, Robin Hill, a rep for the Department of Natural Resources (Wildlife Resources Division), says that the department’s Critical Incident Response Team will recreate the accident on the lake to help determine what happened.
Hill says that rangers have been in touch with the driver of the jet ski and once the department completes an extensive investigation, they will make a recommendation to the district attorney who will then decide what charges (if any) will be filed.
My prayers go out to Tameka and her family during this trying time.

Mugshot Mania ~ Another One For Nene Leakes’ Son Bryson Bryant…

 

It’s official. Nene Leakes‘ of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has raised a career criminal!
Leakes’ oldest son Bryson Bryant recently posed for his 4th mugshot after he was arrested for probation violation in Gwinnett County July 5, 2012.
Bryson’s criminal history is pretty lengthy so I’m not really sure which charge he was on probation for but he was arrested around this time last year after he was caught shoplifting two Mach 3 razors from an Atlanta area Walmart.

Prior to that arrest, Bryson was arrested twice in 2010, once for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon (mugshot), and a second time that same year for marijuana possession (mugshot).
But wait… there’s more!If you recall, Bryson made the news earlier this year after he was involved in a nightclub brawl which left him hospitalized with a shattered jaw and multiple broken bones in his face.
But by then, Nene was over it!

Nene stated then that she had raised her son to the best of her ability and that he’s a grown man. She hasn’t comment on this latest arrest.
According to Starcasm, Bryson could be facing some real jail time for this latest incident!

Bryson’s latest probation violation is his second. He received his first violation at the time he was arrested for theft at Walmart. He had been on probation stemming from his 2010 arrest for drug possession. Now that he has more than one violation under his belt, he could be facing some serious jail time.

Who knows maybe jail time is what he needs because having a “rich b*tch” mother certainly isn’t helping. And what
I guess we’ll be hearing more about this arrest next season as well. Stay tuned….
